At just 18 months old, Rua experienced a life-changing accident that left her paralysed and doubly incontinent. Unfortunately, her family were unable to provide the care she needed during such a challenging time. That’s when she came to join us, where we could offer her the dedicated support, compassion, and specialised care she deserved. Rua’s resilience and strength continue to inspire us every day as we work to ensure she thrives in a nurturing and understanding environment.
Buddy
Buddy came to us after spending most of his life as a stud dog on a crowded puppy farm. In his twilight years, he finally found peace and comfort in our care. Sadly, it was during this time that we discovered he had cancer. Despite his past and his illness, Buddy showed us nothing but love and resilience, reminding us every day of the importance of compassion and second chances for all animals.
